How many photos will be in our gallery?

Engagement and Couples Sessions include 35+ edited and touched up digital images delivered to a private online gallery.
Wedding packages include approximately 50 - 100 edited images per hour of photography.

Where do we get our photos?

Your images are delivered to a private online gallery where you can download. You will receive a direct link to your gallery with a password.

Do you print the photos?

With printing services so easily accessible we don’t manage image printing at all, we can recommend places though.

Are the photos edited?

All your images will be edited in our natural true to color style.

How long will our Wedding Highlight Film be?

Depending on the Wedding Package your book the films are between 4-10 minutes long.

How long do we have to wait for our Photos or Video

Engagement Session images, approximately 2 weeks.
Wedding photography turn around time is 4 weeks at most.
Wedding Highlight Film and Documentary Film turn around time is also a 4 week maximum.

Do you do sneak peek images?

Yes, for our wedding clients we edit and share a mix of 10 images within 48 hours.

How do I know my wedding date is booked?

A date is considered booked once our contract is signed and your deposit (35% of the total invoice) is paid.
The balance of the invoice is due 10 days prior to the wedding at the latest.

We are not comfortable in front of a camera, can you help us?

Absolutely! We will work together to make sure your session is fun and engaging. You will forget all about the cameras I promise! We will guide you through the session and make suggestions as we go along. We want you to be yourselves during the shoot so what we capture is as authentic as possible.

Where should we go? What time of day is best?

For Engagement and Couples Sessions I prefer later in the day or near sunrise when the light is softest. That said I can work in any light and around your schedule so we will make beautiful photos no matter when we decide to meet up. I’m happy to photograph anywhere so if there is a place that is special to you or you’d like suggestions I have your covered. We are blessed with so much beauty on Vancouver Island finding just the right spot is no problem.

Should we book now?

Wedding dates fill up fast so book as early as you feel comfortable to. I am busy booking 2024 and 2025 dates.
Engagement Sessions and can be booked all year round.

Do you do videography?

Yes! We offer both Photography and Videography. We work as a team. All our wedding packages include 1 photographer and 1 videographer. We have multiple cameras and set ups for capturing different angles and perspectives.

How do we prepare for an Engagement or Couples session? What should we/I wear?

I’ll send you some information ahead of time to help you choose just the right thing to wear for the location we’ve chosen.

Do you have a Wedding Guide for your clients

I have a Wedding Guide I send out to all my clients at the time of booking.

Do you have a photography style?

Our editing style varies slightly from shoot to shoot but overall our style would be described as authentic, true to color, less posed and more candid. Our films range from documentary (optional) and cinematic with music and voiceovers.

Do you use lighting or flash?

Yes! I have both on and off camera flash set ups available as needed. We don’t want to miss those moments when the lights go down! We also use lights when needed.

Do you use back up equipment? Do you have lots of gear?

Absolutely! We follow multiple back up steps to make sure what we capture is safe and secure. We also have back up cameras, lenses and flash gear. We don’t travel lightly, we want to be prepared for anything and everything.
